The title comes from the New Jedi Order novel Dark Journey, by Elaine Cunningham. Kyp gets into an argument with his droid, and at one point the droid muses, Rhetorical questions are not directed at anyone in particular. Perhaps that is why destiny claims them. That line seems to apply to all of the major Star Wars characters, and so it became the title.
